Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)

Almighty God our heavenly Father, you declare your glory and show forth your handiwork in the heavens and in the earth: Deliver us in our various occupations from the service of self alone, that we may do the work you give us to do in truth and beauty and for the common good

Almighty and eternal God, from whose love we cannot be parted even by death, hear our prayers and thanksgivings for your servant x.

For although we no longer feel the touch of your faithful departed, fulfill in them, we pray, the purposes of your love and bring us, with them, to your eternal joy.

All this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
